We do not expect this forum to grow exponentially since other forums cover more equipment already but we wanted a more Kohler- focused venue for Kohler owners with less clutter, even so, all are welcome to post about other generators and equipment as noted below.
Please prefix the TOPIC when creating a new topic with the Manufacturer and model of your equipment so sorting will be easier. Such as: Kohler 20RES (then your topic)

Open Discussion section? Not unrestricted to anything, it is open for equipment discussion. No politics, no …. You know .. keep it just about equipment, any equipment. No Wars will be allowed here…..
VPNs - Virtual Private Networks:
Some internet sites including forum sites block access if you are using a VPN such as NORD, ExpressVPN, Norton, We do not. You are welcome to connect here while using a VPN. NUFF Said
SESSION TIMEOUTS: Important to know
Not a fan of that either: Longest I am able to set it for is 16777215 seconds or 194.18 days or about 6 1/2 months. if you visit at least once in that time period you will not be logged out unless you Intentionally log out or delete the session cookie in your browser. At least that is the way it is supposed to work
Keep that in mind especially if you share your computer.
PRIVATE MESSAGING
This forum does not have private messaging enabled. Private messaging is not truly private on any forum.. Any forum operator and moderators if granted permissions can read private messages if they so choose. This is true on every forum regardless of forum software used. Ability for Admin or moderators to read private messages is not a feature of the forum software used here but there are tools an operator can use if they want to. By not allowing private messaging you do not have to wonder if anyone can read what you consider private. If we ever turn on private messaging, You will be notified first. knowing this you will have confidence that we will not read anyone’s private messages. We just do not believe in doing that
We understand this policy may be inconvenient for some. If you want private messaging enabled, post your request here. We will consider it. We would like your feedback on this.
EXPANDING THIS FORUM
if there is sufficient demand we will consider expanding this forum to include other equipment of all types. Currently, you are welcome to do that here in the Open Discussion Section.
