Kohler One Cue Emulator

Post by Caspian »

Over the last few weeks I have re-started the the Kohler Emulator project. After a few days I decided to first move in smaller steps and provide an RDC Monitor that can be used to capture the packets from the RDC controller being sent to the Kohler server. That is the data that gets displayed in the Kohler Power Management app that some of you use to monitor your generator.

We have been able to capture all generator telemetry and the next step is to populate a form to display it.

REAL TIME RDC CONTROLLER MONITORING

Some advantages of CASPIAN:
1.) Gets generator telemetry as soon as RDC sends it, that means even if your app cannot get a connection to Kohler, you can see the information so long as your RDC has a connection to the Kohler server. You get the DATA before it reaches the Kohler server.

2.) Logs all Generator data to your PC. Logging On Logging Off and File Length options included
3.) Log file Playback to see what was going on with your generator previous run times.
4.) Data provided in CASPIAN that is not displayed in the app.
5.)Current and Previous cycle run time.
6.) Display on any WIN 64 Bit PC WIN 10 and above.
7.) Can run continually on your PC

The live monitor is partially working, although we see the data captured, and displaying some telemetry but not all fields are currently populating or populating correctly.

The OnCue Enulator and RDC Monitor projects are near completion but other projects that are more pressing are keeping me away from those so I do not have time to work on this. I will post here as I progress.
